Penny Wars 2015
February 25 |
February 18 - Feb 22, 2015: Aiea High School's
annual penny wars competition. Throughout the week before penny wars, student
association worked to put together advertisements like PA announcements
through the PA system posters and
flyers which were hung all throughout the school; resulting in more
participation. After the first week of the competition, volunteers from
executive council helped do a preliminary count for each class. Then, on
the last day of penny wars, volunteers gathered again for the final
counting before money collections. While the competition brought out
school spirit from each class, all money donated went to a good cause.
