Pumpkin carving contest, at Windward Mall... and we won Most Spirited!

Aiea High School's student government including Senior, Juniors and Sophomores, participated in Windward Mall's annual pumpkin carving contest.  Most Spirited Award goes to.... AIEA HIGH SCHOOL. We got the spirit how about you?

Blood Drive #1, Class of 2016 helped break record set in 2010.

What does it require to donate? Heart & School Spirit . How do you measure heart and school spirit? By the number of registered donors and record breaking pints donated by our senior class, faculty, and staff.  Mahalo, you are all life saving super heroes.  When we get the final solid pint count, we'll be sure to blog it! If you still would like to give... call the blood bank for an appointment at Pearlridge.  The BloodMobile will be near Chili's from 7:00 to 12:00pm.  You must make an appointment by calling 848-4770.  Hurry space is very limited. Also, you can go on   bbh.org , click the “donate” red button and you can choose the drive that is closest to you. Things to prep yourself to donate. Blood Drive Chairperson... you go girl! Kids Fest 2015

Aiea High School,  shows up in force once again to volunteer for the annual Kids Fest 2015, held at the Bishop Museum.  We always have fun at this service project.  This year was a record breaking six thousand plus attendees.  Thank you Executive Council and your classmates who helped.  Mahalo to Advisors, Neal, Mark, Christine, and Tina for Chaperoning and volunteering. Think Pink Week for Breast Cancer Awareness

A week to be mindful of breast cancer,  and to give our school community an opportunity not only to be educated, but also express our care for those in our lives who have, or are currently dealing with this disease. Also, Mahalo for all the donations. Thank you Carly(Think Pink Week Chair) and SA for all your time and effort. All of the well wishes and touching messages shared. Mahalo nui to everyone that donated.

Hiroshima Inokuchi High School Visitation 2015

Our sister school from Hiroshima Japan,  spends a day of international exchange, and of course the creating of fond memories and life time friendships. Executive council gives Inokuchi High School a Na Alii Welcome. Principal Kim Sanders Welcomes our Guests Leo, Inokuchi Student Govt. Rep. & AHS SA President Ashley pose for a shot. Juggling anyone? Lets tour our school! Spanish class students teach our visitors to make Ojo de dios (God's Eye). AP Psychology class does interactive lab activities with our guests. Award winning Inokuchi Chorus Cool flag dance! Inokuchi students got moves! Aiea HS Hula class share our island traditional Hula. Aiea got talent Yes, Talented! Aiea HS, finally wins a few!
