In America We Trust Thursday

Aiea High School commemorated the brave men and women of our armed forces, and remembered all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Student Association kicked off today's noon hour with a brief moment of silence to pay their respects. Mahalo to Student Association Vice President, Kari Okubo for singing the national anthem. To lighten the mood, the Aiea High School Drumline played two cadences, and with that, Ashley started the noon hour games with a fun M&M activity. Students then had to do a human pipeline, then untied their human knot. Congratulations to the Juniors for placing first in the noon hour activities!

Wild Wild Wednesday

Happy Wild Wild Wednesday! Did you let your inner animal out today? Well, Aiea High School's students sure did! Students, faculty, and staff dressed up as their favorite animal or wilderness explorer. Students dropped by A5 during wiki to receive their class points and a special treat! During todays lunch noon hour students waddled like a duck, feasted like a true beast, and guessed that animal. Student Association ended the noon hour with the cupid shuffle, inviting students, faculty, and staff to the stage. Congratulations to the freshman for coming in first for todays noon hour. `

The students of Aiea High School showed off their true Na Ali'i by dressing like royalty. Students and staff came dressed to impress their fellow peers in beautiful dresses, crown, sashes and all things royalty! Mr. Jose, Mrs. Kim- Sanders, Mr. Dona shows off their fabulous royal attire! Students stopped by A5 to receive their class point and a special treat Royal tea eating competition Dress-to-Impress relay race Dress-to-Impress relay race Students participating in the electric slide dance During the noon hours, the Student Association officers put together a royal-tea eating competition, dress to impress relay, and perfect posture race. They concluded the noon-hours with the classical electric slide dance. Even Mrs. Kim-Sanders joined the dance

Move It Monday

HAPPY HOMECOMING! Aiea High School kicked off their homecoming week with their first dress up day, "Move it Monday". Students dressed as their favorite sports team, or in their favorite sports wear. Students stopped by A5 to receive class spirit points and a special homecoming treat. During lunch noon hours, two students from each grade built a body in the activity "Bodybuilder". After the game, C-jay Tausaga led the school, in a school wide zumba. Congratulations to the seniors for winning todays noon hour activity! Please remember tomorrows dress up day is "Tiara Tuesday". Dress to impress!
