Think Pink Week

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we held a Think Pink Week. 

 Students were encouraged to wear pink every day. Cute bracelets and ribbons were on sale to the students. Every ribbon bought came with a delicious cookie, and those students were able to write a message of courage and hope. As a result of all of our hard work, we were able to earn $800 in donations! All the proceeds were donated to finding the cure for breast cancer, and we hope that we made a difference.

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
