May Day 2014

Another Successful May Day Celebration was held on Thursday, April 24, 2014! Ancient Hawaiian customs have been adopted over the years and was celebrated today in a flourish of colors, chanting, tradition, and hula. This year's May Day court featured Princesses Tifanie Muagututia, Megan Maafala-Maiava, Christina Gonzalez, Kailly Paulo, Jenaiah Santos, Hakumele Fuga-Mercado, Anolani Kane, and Bryanne Gutierrez. Also, Princes Sage Albinio-Cadual, Keanu-Lexus Maduli-Pagampao, Shaun Sakai, Lopaka Maialoha, Kailen Shinmoto, Jantzen Shinmoto, Leit Kabua, and Peter Cazimero. Last but not least, our May Day Queen Roina Ma'afala, and King Sage Maialoha. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this event a successful one.

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
