Aiea High School Student Activities

September Bulletin Board Every month, the Student Association will post a board with a few announcements that each grade level's council and Student Association may want to post. This board incorporated the "Tree Map" thinking map. 

August 22, 2012 On this clear Wednesday evening, parents were given the opportunity to visit their child's classes and meet their teachers from 6 pm to 8 pm. Snacks were provided at the cafeteria, and the PTSO were even selling jamba juice outside of the cafeteria! The evening began with a brief PTSo meeting that was held for the first half hour of the night by PTSO president Nancy Hsu, and Aiea High School's principal, Michael Tokioka. Students of executive council and different clubs participated in this event by guiding eager (and sometimes lost) parents around the campus. At the classes, parents were able to meet teachers, learn the goals and expectations for the class, and ask any questions that they had.  (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)

August 16, 2012  The royal elections were concluded on August 16th in the gym during lunch, allowing students of the Junior and Senior classes to vote for who they would want to represent their class in their prom presentations. August 14, 2012      On this bustling Tuesday, new and old students alike were able to have a chance to sign up for the different clubs offered at Aiea High School during lunch in the library. Despite the crowd and the heat, students were able to learn about the different clubs, get a glimpse of what they do, receive brochures and informational packets, and give their information to be able to join the clubs. Some of the clubs that were there at the library were the American Red Cross Club, Chess Club, Drama Club, Environmental Club, Graphics Club, Interact Club, Key Club, Leo Club, Japanese Club, Math Club, Leo Club, Peer Education Club, PAAC, and many others. The school years activities and student involvement has begun with this seemingly ordinary Tuesday!
