Open House
August 22, 2012
On this clear Wednesday evening, parents were given the opportunity to visit their child's classes and meet their teachers from 6 pm to 8 pm. Snacks were provided at the cafeteria, and the PTSO were even selling jamba juice outside of the cafeteria! The evening began with a brief PTSo meeting that was held for the first half hour of the night by PTSO president Nancy Hsu, and Aiea High School's principal, Michael Tokioka. Students of executive council and different clubs participated in this event by guiding eager (and sometimes lost) parents around the campus. At the classes, parents were able to meet teachers, learn the goals and expectations for the class, and ask any questions that they had. (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)
