Teacher Help Day

On this bright and early morning from 8 am to 12 pm, 20 students from each grade level were asked to volunteer their time to help the teachers of Aiea High School prepare for the upcoming school year. Some of these activities included sweeping, dusting, moving things around, setting up bulletins, and decorating. After 4 hours of constant hard work, the volunteers were awarded with cold drinks, chili dogs, and chips for lunch. Thank you to all who participated! Your help was greatly appreciated!!!

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
