11/17 BLOOD DRIVE



November 17, 2011: Aiea High School held it's first 2011 - 2012 Blood Bank of Hawaii blood drive in the school library on Thursday, November 17. Many students 17 years of age or older and weighing heavier than 110 pounds came out and participated in this annual blood drive. Before and after students were put through the procedure, refreshments were offered and chairs were set up for the students to rest in. This was the first blood drive of the school year, and there will be two more opportunities for the students who were unable to donate this time to participate! HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
