RECOGNITION DINNER 2011



May 5, 2011: Aiea High School's annual recognition dinner was held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the school cafeteria. After a year of hard work, student government incoming and outgoing officers along with their parents, faculty and award winning students gathered for a simple dinner and bonding for the new and the old. The night was led by SAC, Neal Nakamitsu. Starting off the night was dinner served by faculty members and cooked by well-known uncle Tommy Rodrigues, head of AHS's cafe. Following dinner was a short video of the years events created by SA secretary, Taylor Nebrija and the most important part of the night, the installation of the 2011 - 2012 officers. HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
