TALENT SEARCH ASSEMBLY



November 12, 2010: The talent search assembly was held on Friday, November 12 in the AHS school gym. The remaining acts from the first cut of the competitiom prepared for the performance they've all been waiting for, hoping to place in one of the top three places. The seven acts picked up their confidence and competition and brought it out to the stage. Congratulations to our talent search first, second and third place winners! HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
