11/16 BLOOD DRIVE


November 16, 2010: Aiea High School's first 2010 - 2011 blood drive was held in front of Q-building on campus. The Blood Bank of Hawaii visited AHS, and students ages seventeen and up with a weight of at least 110 were eligible to donate blood. Eager to donate, the students donated a total of 43 pints of blood, while our goal was 35 pints! We sure can't wait for another successful blood drive! HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
