HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 2: 80's WORK OUT




September 14, 2010: Tuesday, September 14 was the second day of Aiea High Schools spirited homecoming week. Students took a blast to the past for "80's workout day dress-up" and came out during lunch to participate in the daily homecoming noon-hour activity, themed "relay day." Students wore vibrant colors around every corner, sporting their bright leggings, sweatbands and legwarmers; reminding teachers of the past timse. Student association kept track of points each class earned resulting in the final placing of homecoming week. Students from all classes crowded around the outsoor stage and participated in the games during the lunch noon-hour. (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
