OPEN HOUSE




August 25, 2010: Aiea High School's annual open house was a very successful event. Aiea High Schools' Parent, Teacher, Student Organization (PTSO), faculty and staff planned the smooth night, where students along with their parents came to the high school for a meet and greet night with their teachers. The night started at 6 o'clock pm and lasted until 8 o'clock. Teachers spoke with parents, explaining expectations and discussed their students' current standings in class. AHS' executive council along with a few other student volunteers came out as student aids for parents or teachers with questions. (Click on images provided above to enlarge)

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
