FRESHMEN ORIENTATION



On August 2, 2010 incoming freshmen and new students took their first steps on Aiea High Schools' campus. Our executive council gathered at 7 AM to prepare for the big day; posters were hung, ID pictures were taken, campus and staff were introduced & friends bonded after a long, exciting summer. Although it was a hectic seven-hour-long day, the entire council toughened it out, made it through the day with smiles on their faces and created newly formed bondings with the underclassmen. Clubs and important events were introduced to the new crowd as we got the freshmen class of 2014 to raise their spirits in hope of a fantastic school year! HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
