We love giving our students opportunities outside the fences of our school. Here are some motivated students attending a Design Thinking Work Shop at OCID.
November 24, 2010: Aiea High School held it's first 2010 - 2011 C.A.R.E. recognition assembly to congratualte students with great academics and school participation. On November 22, student's period 6 teachers passed out a great number of slips to their constituents inviting them to the assembly. Teachers recognized and congratulated the students with first quarter perfect attendence, the honor roll label with a 3.8 GPA and higher and the principals list students with a 4.0 GPA and above. September 1, 2010: After two long weeks of determination and stress the first full court winner meeting was held at the AHS library during lunch to look over court responsibilities and agreements. The student activities coordinator, Mr. Nakamitsu and SA president, Jamie Young discussed the new schedules the winners would have to adapt to up until the final date of their event, and full courts discussed attire, coreography and music. November 8, 2013: Aiea High School hosted their annual Talent Search, allowing students to show off their own unique talents. This year there were eight acts that left the crowd wanting more with the participants heavenly voices, and out of this world dance moves. Congratulations to Matthew and Zach for winning first place with your Rebel Souljahz Medley. Special thanks to Michael Izumi for uploading the video!
