Flash Back to Children and Youth Summit 2017

Just a flash back to Aiea's Student leaders first time facilitating at this year's Children and Youth Summit during the Fall Break at the Hawaii State Capital.  Along side Moanalua High School's student leaders, Aiea high school's student leaders help facilitate group discussions centered around the question, how do we make our State a better place to live?

Mahalo to Aiea and Moanalua high school student leaders for volunteering their leadership skills and being a necessary instrument in expressing student voice.

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
