Congratulations First Place Culinary Program

    Our culinary students entered a competition at the Pacific Beach Hotel.  The event was for a benefit to support cerebral palsy.  There were over 50 entries from restaurants, hotels, and bakeries in the food service industry.

 It was an amazing experience as students were able to meet professional chefs, business owners in the industry and network with other culinary students.

We serviced 500 guest and the guest had the opportunity to pick the winning dessert.

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
