COURT ELECTIONS

August 16 - 17, 2011: Aiea's Homecoming and Winterball court elections were held on August 16, while Junior Prom and Senior Prom court elections were held on August 17 at lunch in the school gym. Participants running in the elections spent the last two weeks campaigning with facebook advertisements, posters, flyers and treats for their peers in the hopes of gaining votes. On election day, students schoolwide made their way down to the school gym to cast their votes. We wish all the participants the best of luck in the elections!

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
