SENIOR PROJECT NIGHT



January 28, 2011: Senior Project Night was held in the Aiea High School Cafeteria at 6 o'clock pm. All of Aiea High School's students, faculty and staff, along with the parents of the hard workers were invited to a night full of exhibitions, food and entertainment. The senior class officers worked as a team preparing for a night full of work; which resulted a huge hit. Next for these seniors will be the actual presentations! A High School visit from our sister school in Hiroshima is an event that students, faculty, and staff look forward to every year.  This year's visit was different, in that it was done in January rather than their usual visit in October.   Marked with speeches, traditional Omiyage gift exchanges, as well as cultural performances by both schools, this event was marked with pen pals finally having a chance to meet.  By the end of the day, friendships were made, with lasting memories to reflect upon for many years to come, Inokuchi and Aiea High School students came to realize that though they are from different  countries and cultures, we have more similarities than differences a lesson that is best learned face to face. HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
