HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 1: ATHLETIC DAY


September 13, 2010: Monday, September 13 marked the first day of Aiea High Schools spirited homecoming week. Students dressed up for the first day, themed "athletic dress-up" and came out during lunch to participate in the daily homecoming noon-hour activity, themed "ball game day." While kids entered the campus full of spirit and joy sporting their sports uniforms and jerseys, student association worked to keep track of points each class earned resulting in the final placing of homecoming week. While the heat had just started, the noon-hour activities attracted a large turn out of participation from each class as their peers cheered them on. (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment.
