THANK YOU AIEA DAY

September 25, 2010: Thank You Aiea Day was held on Saturday, September 25 at Aiea High School from 8am until 11am. Student government along with AHS clubs helped to clean up and beautify the campus. The schools green pillars and railings along with the parking lot was repainted and fallen leaves from the campus trees were swept up. After two and a half hours of campus clean-up, the students gathered together in C2 for lunch. Aiea High School's principles, vice principles, teachers and students enjoyed a lunch bonding, with chili dogs, chips and a cool and refreshing treat. With the little amount of time, it turned out to be a very successful event. (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)

HOMECOMING GAME - AIEA V. LEILEHUA

September 17, 2010: As the stressful but enjoyable homecoming day ran on, teachers, friends, students, parents and families of both Aiea Naalii's and Leilehua Mules gathered at Aiea High Schools' track and field for the most excited game of the season, homecoming! The heat was on and JV with a score of 21 - 14 and varsity 16 - 7. During half-time the marching band did their performance and the placing for the three sections of homecoming were announced. Although it wasn't the best homecoming game, the boys kept it together as one the entire night and left the field with their heads up high, ready to take on the next challenge. HOMECOMING PEP RALLY

September 17, 2010: Aiea's annual pep rally was held on Friday, September 17 in the school gym. The homecoming court did their performance as a preview for the night, class banners were introduced, and presentations were performed in the hopes of impressing the judges and their fellow classmates. Spirit filled the air as each class cheered on the stars as each class exited the gym anxious to hear the final results at the upcoming homecoming game, Aiea v. Leilehua! HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 5: CLASS T-SHIRT

September 17, 2010: Friday, the last day of homecoming week was once again kicked off with the yearly class t-shirt day. Rather than sporting our funky homecoming week costumes, students strutted their class t-shirts down the hallways representing their class. The t-shirt count began 10 minutes after the lunch bell and the junior and senior class lines flowed down the entrance to the gym at the front of the school. HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 4: CHARACTER DRESS UP

September 16, 2010: The day before homecoming, students gained more spirit and competitivness. The dress-up theme was "movie character dress up." Students wore halloween-like costumes all over the campus, mimicking their favorite movie characters. Each class made their way to A5 during wiki to retrieve their spirit points while classes distributed their class t-shirts. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, gathering a large crowd toward the end due to the lunch food booths. The games were themed, "music game day," connecting the movie character dress up with musical games for entertainment. 2010 - 2011 HOMECOMING DANCE

September 15, 2010: Aiea's annual homecoming dance was held on Wednesday, September 15 in the school cafeteria from 6 pm until 8 pm. Again, the dance had a great turn out as the students danced the night away. Pre-sale tickets were sold the week of homecoming for $3 and $5 at the door. Aiea High Schools' faculty and staff as well as a few police officers helped chaperone the event. But all in all, the night went smoothly. (Click on the images provided above to enlarge)

HOMECOMING WEEK - DAY 3: COLOR DAY

September 15, 2010: The third day of Aiea High Schools' annual homecoming week, had the most participation yet. The dress-up day theme for that day was, "color day," where each class were assigned a specfic color to wear. Seniors wore black, juniors wore white, sophomores wore yellow and freshmen wore blue. The line for dress up spirit points ended past the end of A-building, while students walked through A5 as officers marked their points. The lunch noon-hour was also a success, while class participation rocketed up to the sky with the crowds favorite, "food games."
