A High School visit from our sister school in Hiroshima is an event that students, faculty, and staff look forward to every year. This year's visit was different, in that it was done in January rather than their usual visit in October. Marked with speeches, traditional Omiyage gift exchanges, as well as cultural performances by both schools, this event was marked with pen pals finally having a chance to meet. By the end of the day, friendships were made, with lasting memories to reflect upon for many years to come, Inokuchi and Aiea High School students came to realize that though they are from different countries and cultures, we have more similarities than differences a lesson that is best learned face to face.
