Inokuchi High School Visits Aiea

Image
A High School visit from our sister school in Hiroshima is an event that students, faculty, and staff look forward to every year.  This year's visit was different, in that it was done in January rather than their usual visit in October.   Marked with speeches, traditional Omiyage gift exchanges, as well as cultural performances by both schools, this event was marked with pen pals finally having a chance to meet.  By the end of the day, friendships were made, with lasting memories to reflect upon for many years to come, Inokuchi and Aiea High School students came to realize that though they are from different  countries and cultures, we have more similarities than differences a lesson that is best learned face to face. Class of 2014 Stage Painting

Image
An annual tradition of the graduating class painting the school's outdoor stage has been going on since I don't know... the beginning of time?  Class of 2014 officers and friends took two days to accomplish this task with stunning results.  Good Job!  This simple tradition helps to bring school spirit and Na Alii pride to this great institution. Spray and clean it Off with the old paint... scrape it Mix that paint well... a masterpiece is about to be created!  NICE!!
