Thank You For Giving Life

Stay posted for more dates to give blood. Remember you can alway go to outside blood drives if you want to give blood. Thanks to all you brave students for saving 3 lives each and giving a record breaking 60 pints. Great job! Proud Blood donor smiling for a photo after giving blood. Kids Fest

October 27, 2013: On October 27, Aiea High Schools Executive Council along with various volunteers participated in Kids Fest at the Bishop Museum.  Attendees learned about nutrition, fire safety, ocean safety and even played health education games. Our students volunteered their sunday to serve food and shave ice to attendees. It was lot's of fun for everyone!  Seniors pose for a photo in front of Bishop Museum wearing the Kids Fest t-shirts. Breast Cancer Awareness Week

October 21-25, 2015: The entire week of October 21, Aiea High School celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness week! Did you know that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? Students at Aiea showed their support by dressing out in pink all week! Students could buy ribbons in A5 for $1.00 or a paper ribbon for $2.00 that was displayed in A5. All proceeds were given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association to help find a cure to breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who dressed out this week! Also a big thank you to those who spoke during our noon hour! The Freshman Council dressing out in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness! Kacie decorating paper ribbons to be sold. All profits go to Susan G. Komen! Senate Council Meeting #1

October 17, 2013: Aiea High School hosted their first Senate Council Meeting on October 17, 2013 during lunch in the library. The regular protocol of reviewing past events and discussing future events. The period 3 representatives were given surveys to take back to the classroom to get student input on various problems within our school.

Exec Google Drive Workshop

Students getting hands on lessons on Google. Friday October 11, 2013: On October 11, our Executive council was invited to a Google Drive Workshop hosted by our registrar Mr. Ken Kang . Students got the opportunity to learn more about how to maximize their usage of Google Drive. Big mahalo to Mr. Kang to take time out of his fall break to help us out!
